In the Beginnning
In 1982, while a junior at RIT, David Nytch co-founded his first company, Richards and West, with a close friend from school. What began as an ambitious entrepreneurial venture grew into a highly regarded jewelry manufacturing firm, providing services to designers, retailers, and major brands nationwide.
With that vision in mind, David and his wife Jody opened West & Co. in 1991 in Webster, NY. From the beginning, the company has offered a diverse selection of fine jewelry across all price ranges, while specializing in custom, one-of-a-kind creations. After nearly 25 years of serving the Rochester community David and his wife made the decision to move their store to the beloved Finger Lakes Region. For several years David and Jody spent their summers on Owasco lake with family and friends nearby.
